MEET THE DENTIST

Rosa Mathai DMD

Meet Dr. Mathai at West Portal Dental Care in San Francisco, CA. 

Originally from Leesville, LA, Dr. Mathai earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.  Following dental school, she completed her general practice residency at Harvard University, training at Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospitals. 

Dr. Mathai is a highly-experienced provider in implant dentistry, including “teeth in a day” all-on-6 restorations and full-mouth rehabilitation services. She routinely lectures on topics related to dentistry for special needs adults and hospital-based dentistry services and enjoys being engaged in organized dentistry.

Dr. Mathai is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
